All Ghana needs to do is to draw the game and their through while Germany needs to ensure they qualify for the next round.
Ghana has not been convincing in their last game when they failed to beat 10 men Australia. In fact it was Australia with 10 men that look more dangerous in towards the end of the game. Both their goals scored in the World Cup have came from penalty therefore i do have questions over their scoring ability and their attacking option. Some people feel that Germany are over ratted. Well their 4-0 win over Australia was probably a false impression to people BUT Germany are still a decent side and they are good enough to win against Ghana. My only concern towards this Germany side is does Cacau have what it takes to get Germany the goals? In his last appearance, Cacau basically did nothing against Serbia. Podolski who missed several chances against Serbia including a penalty will have a big part to play as he is key in this attacking force of Loew. Ozil will be the player that creates the chances for the rest and this might be the game he scores his first World Cup goal. Team News: Ghana : Kingson, sarpeo, Mensah, Jonathan, Panstil, Annan, Prince, Asamoah, Tagoe, Ayew, Gyan. Germany : Neuer, Boateng, Friedrich, Mertesacker, Lahm, Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Podolski, Muller and Cacau. The Pick: Germany needs to win the game and i believe Joachim Loew have what it takes to win the game and play against England in the next round. Take Germany to cover the - 1 ball head start and take Germany to keep a clean sheet or to score to nil. Best Regards, -shady- |
